At David Ensignia Tennis Academy, we believe everyone deserves the chance to experience the joy of playing tennis.

That’s why we developed the Wheelchair Tennis program, an inclusive program to empower individuals of all ages and abilities to learn, play, and thrive through wheelchair tennis.

About Wheelchair Tennis?

Wheelchair tennis is a fast-paced sport that requires both strength and strategy. It's a great way to stay fit and improve your coordination while having fun and meeting new people.

Our Program Features:

• Top Coaches: Our certified tennis coaches specialize in working with wheelchair tennis players, dedicated to helping them elevate their skills and performance.

• Accessible Facilities: Our program is conducted at the Continental Park Tennis Center which has handicap accessible courts and facilities.

• Two-Bounce Rule: Like conventional wheelchair tennis, two bounces of the ball are permitted on the court, which helps new players to the game.

• Free program

• A Community: Wheelchair tennis is a great way for players who love the sport to come together and create connections.

• This program is support by our sister non profit Organization DETA Friends

No matter your skill level, DETA Friends Wheelchair Tennis has you covered with racquets, balls, and expert coaching. All you need to bring is your determination.
